GER, Berlin, Nov 5th, 2008 Students protest during immatriculation celebrities at the Ferie Universität Berlin. Univerity´s president Dieter Lenzen, invited Federal President Horst Köhler for this years` immatriculation celebrity. Students force on protest a) against the data they had to send to the university if wanted to join the celebrity, so far the entrance has been free to students. personal data the university collected were sent through on to the federal main criminal office. no information about which, how many, for how long and where exactly those data are sampled and saved now. neither do exact information about how many and which offices are to have access to these data given so far. b) against still unbearable study quality. students studying didactic studies (future teachers) claim about the small number of study teachers in order to get the modules they are to take in BA system. after illness of one teacher the students can´t finish one whole obligatoric modul (= a modul they have to take if they want to finish their studys and join work area). c) against their president, responsible for the situation. the students are protesting against Mr. Lenzen for years now, slowly getting the feeling their claims stay unheard.
